From Roma, we took a train to Naples where we had hired a driver, Angelo, to get us to Positano. Naples is pretty awful, at least by the train station, but once you’re out of the city and you start seeing Mount Vesuvius in the distance, and the coastline ... aaaaahhh! Now for the serious relaxation part of the trip.
Don’t worry, there’ll still be ruins. And caprese. And wine. And someone’s got to eat all that cheese.
